It sounds like the target may have been narrowly missed but I can remember KDB was trying to be ready for the CWC months ago.

Didn't Kevin himself say he was hoping to be back early in the new year? That being the case, the CWC was never a realistic aim.

He did but earlier in his recovery he was reported as saying he would like to play in the CWC and that was his target.

Pep just said he thinks it will come a little too early for him but didn’t completely rule it out.
