We've got these players for a reason not just to stock pile them!

We certainly need some players back. We desperately need to rest Fernandinho and in hindsight Silva. Sure Foden will play over Christmas. Gundogan needs to step up to the plate. I wouldn’t be surprised if a left back came in in January.

Fair enough, but your list suggests a good first team, and fringe players on the bench.
Not a problem against Hoffenheim, but there isn't much depth if we need a goal against Everton.

I would hazard a guess that the players listed above have scored more goals than the whole of the Everton squad.
