Never write him off , or we have to get rid of all those who get a knee injury then the usual niggle/ injury on return, we do need a new striker , gabbies mysterious injury doesnt sound good

Gabby just got called up for the November internationals, can’t be too bad in that the case. Definitely need a striker this summer though.

He is not even training as of two days ago , pep keeps saying bad injury but not what , a mystery . It is a position we have to get cover for

I see the score at 1-1 and up steps a player, a big moment.



Everybody heard this kind of stuff about Barry when he was here as well.
 
The thing with Gundogan, is his partnership with Rodri isn't very good. Only one should play but both their levels are miles below a peak Fernandinho. Thats why they get stick, I prefer Rodri as the 6 tbh.
 
I'm of the opinion Aguero is close to the end,his body isn't built for longevity and his lack of enthusiasm for training is legendary.These constant niggles that have plagued him for the past few years have caught up with him,he is now a player we cannot rely on unfortunately.

He didn't play well. Our midfield was horrendous. All the possession stats in the world cant mask the fact that the three of them created very little. How often in the game were they creating any space for our front three. Foden did more than any of them when he dropped inside. Our play is predictable and bloody boring when you have Gundogan and Rodri together.
 
unfortunately every injury takes a yard of pace away and the Kun we all love is slowly going, injury prone and slow now, need to sign a big big striker

This is bang on. Both decent players but not together. Way too slow. That starting eleven was never going to work just like the first half v Porto. Also don’t understand why Torres doesn’t play ahead of mahrez.
 
now he’s injured we can look forward to a false 9 instead of giving delap a go up top. we need Jesus back desperately.
