I'd suggest the morning, that way you can pay plenty of attention to your nutrition/recovery for the rest of the day, however, its whatever time suits your lifestyle.

I would love to have time for a quick 40 minute blast in the mornings and do split days

Can you not get up that bit earlier or do you start work ridiculously early as it is?

Well I leave for work at 6 so im up at 5.30 as it is. To work out before not including having to break in to my gym after catching the night bus I would have to get up at 3.50

Yeah, fuck that, apart from it being mental, getting up at that time each day would end up being counter productive in the long term.

Get some decent food down ya and blast it later in the day.

Ive just started week 2 last night, not doing it everyday as the programme intends as i am not a believer in training everday. need to give the body time to recover and all that !

it is certainly getting easier and i am getting fitter as the days go on

Just done day 11-Cardio recovery which is a bit of a day off. Those squat pulses are fuckers though. Just seen later in the week I have to do pure cardio and cardio abs all together!! WTF.....

I usually train in the afternoon but I read somewhere that it is better for your metabolism if you train in the morning.

Yea i saw that you have to do 1 in one day aswell, the pure cadio is slightly shorted though at about 35 mins and then cadio abs is 20 mins

Cardio Abs is a piece of piss. Don't worry.

If your form is wrong, it will be.

If you sacrifice form to complete anything, you will find you don't quite get the results you want. If you concentrate on your core, when completing these exercises, you should feel the pain, no matter if you've done it 50 times!!

I was talking in relation to the 40 minute workout before it. An extra 13 minutes is nothing. Don't get me wrong that fucking c-sit postion while raising both legs is bloody horrible.

I struggle most with Cardio Power and Resistance from the first month. White men weren't designed to jump! Just ask Woody Harrelson.

Power jumps are the hardest thing in Insanity IMO. That black guy at the back is an absolute beast at them.
