Also did the fit test today for the 14th time.

Still can't beat Tanya :-(

50-100 push ups??
How weak must my shoulders be then? I struggled like hell to do 3-4 when I started, ok I've improved massively to be able to do 15, but Christ 50-100????

Maybe it was 2 years of pure running and zero weights that just ate away my shoulder muscle.

I'd definitely recommend training with heavier weights, you should be able to complete at least 20 pressups imo.

I would imagine ,without knowing SHB's physique, that he didnt complete the 50-100 in one set but probably spread over 2 or 3.

Insanity is good for general fitness but i'd use it as a supplement to a good lifting routine, your body will thank you.

You called it bang on..my press ups are done morning afternoon and evening..i used to do so much more a few yrs ago but stopped cos of injuries..push ups are awesome for all over strength and core.
Plyometric circuits hurt again today...its so fucking humid aswell which doesnt help...if you know anyine selling any good weights etc let me know.
And i aint getting my hairy chest out on here..lol

I haven't posted for ages, on this, but I started again last night with the Fit Test. My hammies are crying this morning, but at least I didn't make the mistake of taking certain insulin after(which is what nearly killed me, last time!), cos my metabo kicked in cos of the exercise.

Last time I was just doubling up the metabo rate cos I took insulin!! Silly me!

So, Plyometric Cardio Circuit tonight for me! BTW, is it better to train first thing in the morning or last thing at night cos I had a cracking sleep, last night!! And, since I have the 3 disc download, are the sessions in order??

Ta.

I'd suggest the morning, that way you can pay plenty of attention to your nutrition/recovery for the rest of the day, however, its whatever time suits your lifestyle.

I would love to have time for a quick 40 minute blast in the mornings and do split days

Can you not get up that bit earlier or do you start work ridiculously early as it is?
