Haha I was about to say.... guys, save yourself £200

Have a look on youtube for Plyometric circuits...

Buy yourself a Medicine Ball (and or a Russian Kettlebell) as well
Maybe consider installing a Punchbag Bracket (and a bag) in your home

This works out alot less than £200, with the circuits being something you can do anywhere (anytime)

This is coming from someone who's worked in a Gym:

* You don't need them. Unless you are looking to build alot of strength, or you don't like doing cardio exercise (running/cycling/walking) outside

All my cardio is done on the bag, 4x5min rounds, inbetween the rounds 30sec Squats, pressups, ab crunches.

and I hate long distance running so I choose to sprint up steep hills

Ste, its advise there is not wrong way or right way. I done it so im trying to help others. Dont make it out like im giving them bull shit advise. You worked at the gym did people pay for your advise as a fitness instructor? because people spend fortunes year in year out at the gyms paying FROM £20- £60 PM MONTH an hardly go. like I said, it worked for me so i want to give my friends on here info what i have done.

dont know why people have a go and go on a which hunt when people post stuff they may not agree with, its childish.

I have insanity and insanity asylum, p90x, and turbofire. Downloaded them all. I have just started turbofire today and it was tough. Max interval training is the best training to do and gives the best results. It's training smart and so much more effective than long runs or regular gym sessions

can you pm me where you downloaded them from mate

Done

I did it for a week but I have shin splints so had to lay off it for a while . I do Zumba twice a week which is max interval and have started turbofire today which is done by the people who make insanity but geared towards women.
Insanity is hard and I wanted to throw up. It's brutal but will raise fitness levels very quickly and dissolve fat . I did the fitness test and that was pretty hard but it is worth it when you are done and it's only an hour a day of your life.

Can I also say that 1 session is likely to burn off 1000 calories so you have to be eating right too. Too little or too much can mean no weight loss. I reccomend using my fitnesspal to log calorie intake and you will need to eat back some or all of your excercise calories

Asylum involves more equipment I think. I'd download it if I were you. Are you on my fitnesspal too ? You might not be eating enough as insanity burns about 1000 calories. You will stall soon of you don't eat enough

Will it sound incredibly gay if i asked if you have before and after photos? I've started my own routine of 4x a week doing 30mins+ swimming and 3x a week, fitness challenges. They feature 150 pressups, 150 dips and situps. It provides a weekly schedule of building up a routine of these exercises, for example, last night was day 2 of 3 for the first week so i did 12 pressups, 60 sec break, 10 more, break, 8, 8, 12. Sounds shit but really works especially moving onto the dips afterwards. It pushes you a little more each time and is done in 6 weeks.

Do it at your own pace I say and just be careful as it is very high intensity.

yeah just like to echo that really, there are people on insanity your age but dont worry about not getting through it, just do as much as you can and keep at it.

The one thing is though its not only for 60 days, its something you need to do all the time to keep in the best shape of your life.

For me to get inspired about this is type insanity on youtube and look at the results people have got from it, it really helped me get to where I am now.
