Insanity work-out

Bob what drink would you recommend me taking during and after insanity. I have a protean shake after but I do need more energy while exercising.

All I usually drink is water. You could try eating abit of banana before, during and after your workout
 
Right, because you're all going on about it I'm gonna get involved starting Monday - Got the disc's and other bits.

I'm going to do them first thing in the morning, is anyone else doing the workout early and what do you suggest as pre workout food? I don't fancy waking up an hour earlier just to get some food down prior to workout... Is an apple OK?

I'm good fitness anyway, 2 x Kickboxing weekday evenings, swimming & running, but fancy this to achieve definition and additional cardio.

I do mine at 7pm every night on the dot, it is hard as im shattered. I do it on Thursdays as its my day off at 3:30pm and do find it easier.
 
Does anyone know any programs that i can download to play these files. Nothing is showing when i click to play the videos

One of the things I like about this is that Shaun T is constantly saying take a rest if you need too but push through, and I'm pretty sure it's the only workout program where the people in the background doing it are struggling as well... makes me feel a lot better and more motivated doing it anyway...

I don't have that one I have turbofire that's geared towards women. It's made by the same people as insanity

Mate its hard lol, I just do what I can and try to finish it knowing every time i could go a little further. Anyhow I find the Fit test and the Max training on the same day almost impossible !
 
Can't wait to get home later for a bit of Pure Cardio. Must also say I'm living off the diet of a Monk.

Using VLC Player to play files, then HDMI socket from laptop to TV in Living Room. Only just realised I could take laptop with me to work and do workout when I have a spare hour or so.

Missus has started Turbofire and I must admit, it looks pretty fucking hard as well. Although I'd much listen to Shaun T motivating me than that annoying blonde woman.

There's nothing inherently dangerous in reaching or passing your theoretical max heart rate as long as you no heart problems.
 
Just done the first days plyometric cardio...
I reckon I did about 40% of the workout but had to stop before I threw up
 
Day 5 done. Pure Cardio is fucking horrible. Feel amazing though. Nearly threw up in the garden after it haha. Back to Plyometric Cardio tomorrow, can't wait. Keep it up everybody, keep pushing play. If it wasn't for the wife doing Turbofire first I might not have done tonight.
