Inter Milan (N) | Champions League Final | Post Match Thread

It was a difficult game to watch until the referee blew the final whistle. We looked nervous and frustrated with quite a few poor passes. Pep was constantly telling them to keep calm. Fair play to Inter as their game plan was clearly working. The Ederson save and Dias header at the end were fantastic. What counts though is that great finish from Rodri and the fact that we are CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE.

I have to be totally honest..Of course I wanted the treble..like all Blues.. I really wanted us to overcome that hurdle..BUT..I knew we had to beat the rags last week.. I had more emotion for that than last night..last night only happened as we beat the rags..Yep, all day, all night watching the videos.. Such pride.I do believe deep down if we beat the rags we would get it..and fuck me we were lucky last night, but the new Pep team can grind out a result..but for me beating the rags was so so special..just like the semi in 2011. We broke them Blues. Not only the FA Cup but the treble..Oh yes a domestic treble too. For the life of me I have been in tears all day. So happy, I mean so so happy. Like the greatest week in my life and that is so fucking weird.

What a night, nerves were shot but good teams find ways to win and win ugly, bin dippers did it for years in the 80's. Walker not starting a blow as Stones did not step into midfield enough
Akanji did not have his best game
Would have loved Foden to smash his shot rather than place would have been a Worldie

But we are champions of europe...we will always sing that
