A heads up

Foden will be playing for the u21's against the Jocks at 1730hrs.Its on the BBC Interactive service.

You could have saved yourself the bother of typing that and just said 'see post #825'.

That would mean reading back. I get it. You love England. I have no idea why you don't like a little constructive criticism. They are a team rebuilding. So are we. Both teams played well in some parts and poorly in others. This is not the Spain of a few years ago. And neither are we, thank God. An improvement but it wasn't away to France now was it?

"Goals aside we were poor for long periods of the game against a Spain side rebuilding after the WC."

That was your original assessment, there's nothing constructive about it whatsoever.

You never even mentioned the fact that we fielded a number of untried combinations until it was pointed out to you.

I doubt you'd have been as quick to reserve judgement if we'd been hammered last night.

It's funny how these teams suddenly become shite when we beat them.

If Spain would have taken their chances last night they would have won by a big margin.
England took theirs and won but you have to be honest and say they were outplayed for the majority of the time.
Great to see Raz bang in a couple and no injuries to any City players, and nice to see the alpaca looking shite again.

That sound like the media and match of the day in particular.

No they wouldn't, they only had two more attempts on target than we did.

If by 'outplayed', you mean they had more possession than us, then we were much more clinical than them.

If the stats had been the other way round, do you think that the critics would be saying that we were unlucky, or that Spain were ruthless?
