ROI v wales. ...absolutely dire.
Not a surprise if this was the kind of team talk Wales got.

Consenus of opinion from coaches and manager is Foden needs a bit longer to develop physically for the demanding midfield role.
So what, Raz played when he was 17 going on 18 as did Walcott and granny shagger and plenty of others... I don’t need to calm down, I’m perfectly calm as it goes, just stating an opinion that plenty of other Blues share ...! He’s good enough to play now, not in 2 years time ..!
I absolutely agree with that. He is a a great talent but could use a bit more bulk.Consenus of opinion from coaches and manager is Foden needs a bit longer to develop physically for the demanding midfield role.
I’m sure they are right, what the fuck do I know.. I’m just basing my opinion on watching him and other young lads of his age and younger that have made the jump .. Maybe it’s just the position he plays and they feel he needs to beef up a bit ... Time will tell I suppose..Consenus of opinion from coaches and manager is Foden needs a bit longer to develop physically for the demanding midfield role.
Haha France v Germany’s first time thecamera cuts away to Loew and he’s sniffing his fingers. Wtf is up with that fella?

However, the point is being made by others that in times past many players were established first team players by the age of 18. I remember when I was a kid the adage was “if he’s good enough he’s old enough”. If you look at the careers of many players they were experienced first team players in their teens (our very own Colin Bell and Brian Kidd for example) but these days there appears to be a tendency to hold players back until they are more physically mature. Nothing wrong with it - it’s just a different philosophy.
