Crap sky commentary of the France vs Germany game. The player clearly played the ball and caught him on the follow through... "that has to be a yellow, he's lashed out as he's got away from him".

It's like some commentators wont even let the slowmo persuade them that they called it wrong in real time.

The point I was making is that in years past it was very common to have a number of teenagers in the first team (I am old enough to remember Tommy Booth, Glynn Pardoe, Colin and others who were all regulars before they were 20. Now it is more more usual to hold players back. Obviously there will always be exceptions, like Mbappe who, at 19, is already looks fully grown. I have no doubt that as soon as Pep thinks he is ready, Foden will be given his chance.
