Yes, but only for the biggest matches in the finals events.

Growing up watching the France v West Germany semi, the Dutch team in Euro 88, Italia 90, etc.

The drudgery of pointless qualifiers against absolute diddy teams is a different question.

Bit like the weekend there, not a massive rugby fan but the quality of the two later games each night was breathtaking, and in stark contrast to the dull stuff served up in the group stages.

I’d still rather watch ickle old City any day of the week though!

Small margins. They were beating Scotland 1-0 with 5 mins left, subbed him off and lost 2-1.

They also drew in Georgia, which is a terrible result.

Just look at the shit performances (not necessarily results) and teams under waistcoat and it’s easy.
