Intimidating grounds

Another one was the old Hampden Park. I managed to get 4 tickets for the 1976 Scotland v England game. Me & my mate met up with my 2 Jock pals in Glasgow. They were both Rangers fans & gave me a bollocking because the tickets were in the "Celtic end". I didn't know that they even segregated them for internationals. There was a lot of trouble outside the ground that day - might have been a lot more if Scotland hadn't won. Those were the days when the Jocks took "carry-outs" into the ground. Everyone was absolutely steaming.

Baseball Ground was bad, long walk from the station with a lot of ambush possibilities.

Celtic the other season in the champions league

They were more intimidating the two times they played at the Etihad.

Playing football anywhere in Ashford Kent, always pleased to get back home in one piece and no damage to the car ! Kids football ahh ! ;(

the estadio monumental, ( river plate) as you walk to the ground and see the police armed with shotguns it makes you think what the fuck am I doing here

Maine Road must have been bad, it was surrounded by Cycle paths.

Luton believe it or not in the late 70’s.....remembered when we played them in the league cup around 77......the scenes at the train station were similar to a war scene with the city fans being chased all the way from the ground

Remember in the eighties when I was a kid coming out of the gates at Wolves and them flying out of the subway and the police pushing us back in while they got rid of them. They got their comeuppance a few years later I believe
