And from what I can see, there are little-none differences except a smidging off the weight/size. £500 so your pocket is less bulged by a mm?

Tbf there is a big difference in phone design and quality from the 4 onwards. Anyone still running a 3gs would tell the difference performance wise when given a 4s.
The industry as a whole is pretty underwhelmed by this phone. I think they were expecting apple to come out fighting against the S3 and 920 all apple have done is stretch the the 4s by 1/2 an inch,upgrade the processor and change the connector. Hardly a revolution more of a tiny evolution. I dont need to say anything more against this phone as its doing its own bad press and although the usual sheep will buy it 'because its an iphone' and for no other reason then apple will still get there dollar.
Android fans look out for the HTC One X+ and the LG Optimus G as well as the Galaxy Note 2 all as good if not better than the new iphone(and probably cheaper)

I can uderstand this line of thinking to an extent. But then again, who the fuck are you (or me for that matter) to dictate how someone spends their disposable income? Its not stupidity, its choice.

2. Plug it into iTunes, back it up before you update
3. Hold shift (or alt if you're on a Mac) and click 'check for updates'
