FACT cited the 2021 case against two individuals, Paul Faulkner and Stephen Millington, who were sentenced to a total of 16 months in prison for watching unauthorised streams.

Coppers can find time to be corporate police but couldn't give 2 fucks about a house being burgled or a car being nicked, what a society we live in.

Operators as in suppliers? Unsure how a supplier would hold your details on a database if you never furnished any.

How would you have purchased the access to an IPTV service or preloaded device without providing your credit card or payment intermediary?

Unless you did so using a stolen payment card, they would have enough information to trace you through either e.g. The intermediary e. g. PayPal or the credit card provider.

My principle for copyright theft is I'm happy to do obtain but not distribute content myself. But am not paying someone for content they don't have legal ownership of.
