IPTV

I think there are two solutions, either remove the 3pm ban or remove the worldwide live distribution of the game. The PL are probably worried that another league will step in for the slots if they do the latter. That said, it's still better than the old days, being jealous of people I don't know thousands of miles away because they can watch doesn't really make sense when you think about it.

This rule was to encourage fans to go to games - lower leagues as well as top flight as the thinking was fans would stay in and watch the best match as opposed to watching the local cloggers.

Times have moved on - the best games are not on at 3pm on a saturday. And there is wall to wall sport on TV so there is plenty of reasons not to go to a local match. But I still think the lower leagues will want to keep that rule.

Local cloggers! How dare you. You lot were local cloggers once.

Tried watching the match last night on Dazn and kept getting booted because I was accessing via a german & spanish vpn. I don't have that problem using Dazn Canada for EPL/UCL games but Dazn.ca lost the rights to the Carabao.

I ended up casting a 'buffstream' from my pc to tv and that was decent quality. I actually lol'd when we got knocked out because the commentator gave it the big ... *deep breath* ... "Goooooooooooooooooooooooolllllll" for nearly a full ten seconds.

4K Firesticks are reduced today, 27gbp for anyone thinking of upgrading their old sticks.
I have a firestick on the telly. When I hear people talking about streaming and watching stuff you'd normally pay for I haven't got a clue how or what to do. I'm hopeless with techy things. How's it all done ?

A simplified walkthrough for complete newbies would be welcome to thread.

YouTube will be your friend Bob.

Loads of how to videos that you can play/pause as you set it up.
I'm pretty much Au Fais (adjective) and the only thing that's held me back is the questionable P.Q. I was more inviting response for the boards other lost souls that wouldn't know where to start.

As a general concensus I dont like paying for things, however Sky's for pennies if negotiated correctly and their UHD is a blessing in disguise. But I would imagine an IPTV walk through for novices would be gratefully received.

I’m a bit torn by Sky’s attempts to keep me while I serve my notice with them, the HD being a bit of a pull. Don’t know what the quality of IPTV streaming will be

Lot of it depends on how much you use it if you watch a lot and can get a decent price got to be worth staying legal I only watch our games.

Better quality picture on IPTV especially the non-HD sky channels through the dish with an added benefit that when SKY crashes with stuff like thunder & lightening IPTV carries on as it comes via a Wi-Fi connection.
