Ireland - One season wonder?

I don't think so . the lad has worked really hard and knows what it takes now. Loves the club too. He is the real deal for me anyway. Cheer up op for christs' sake.

I'm all for not getting carried away (ie, winning the league next year, world domination the year after), but this is just sheer pesimissm.

Ireland will hopefully be the main man, amongst the million pound superstars. His determination and attitude suggests he has a lot more to give than, even more than last season.

Moron. Delete this thread because someone has an opinion that you dont agree with.

We thouoght Richards would be a world beater and had a shit last season.

Ireland was on his way to Sunderland and magically turned things around. Whats to say that he wont slip into his old ways, or opponents now mark him out the game and he has no effect in the games.

No because its people like you that were sitting their when we were winning against 6-0 against pompey and thinking we were going to lose.

If we win the league, you will be thinking its bad because we might get fans from further a field.

If you found a pound, you'd think it was a trap. The lad showed quality before his great year, just no consistency. Most one season wonders are later in their careers, and have showed no glimpses before.

Your life must be one depressing existence if you look on the sour side of everything.

In the unlikely event that Superman has a bad season, you can guarantee he will give his all for the club. And love us as much as the club itself. The man deserves nothing but positive mental attitude from us. Simple as.
