From the outside looking in, this "story" about Carsley singing the national anthem may have the whiff of yet another manufactured controversy drummed up by the organ grinding media to excite impressionable monkeys but, in fairness, the predictable reaction from that peculiar breed of performative patriots suffering with chronic outrage-diarrhea is fucking hilarious.

The odds on Kathryn Jenkins being the next manager are shortening too.

The same people on here getting cross about people getting cross. Even nipping over to the U21 thread to show how cross they are at people getting cross. Both threads need putting in Off Topic.

Let’s get it back on topic then.

Tough game ahead today. The Irish will be fired up by England playing Rice and Grealish. Can’t see there bring too much between the teams and England will do well to come away with a battling 1-1 draw.

I’d love to know what the viewing figures are for this dross.

I’m guessing single figures. Some auld fellas gathered round a black and white tv in Tipperary and Gaz and the lads from Burnley tuning in after watching a few Nigel Farage videos on the way back from the pub.

So glad there’s no city match to watch so this epic international battle can take place.
