It's hard to judge anything against a poor Irish side. We won, Jack played okay and that's about that.

And Mainoo is incredibly slow.

TAA is a luxury defender. Sometimes, simple is good. Too many attempted Hollywood passes.

More emphasis needs to be on team and not I. Quite a few held on to the ball longer than they should or chose wrong options.

Despite a good cameo, Rice still showed his limitations when the opportunity arose to play through the lines and a press.

Would be nice other defenders like Tomori and Branthwaite play at the back. That may help with build up.

Overall, a lot better than I’ve seen from England in a long time. He’s only had days with them but the days ahead may just be a lot better.
