Firstly I am an English chap but was routing for Ireland last night. In fact I was angry at the manner of the defeat, not to mention the whole seeding thing...it's sad that Ireland wont be in SA come June!!

A nation of under 4 million taking on a nation of 65 million is the David V Goliath thing....the fact they were going to Paris 1-0 most has written off their chances. They played brilliantly and I was proud to see Dunne commanding at the back and can't help but think our Shay would of got the lads through had penalties come into play.

From a team perspective the Irish are quite rightly proud of last nights achievement...

Keep your head up lads!!

ur right i should really spend my time checking my spelling,fukin loser,while im on the computer i really couldnt careless how i spell,now when im writing il put in the effort but whilst im on a football forum i think il write as i want,u got what i meant didnt u?now make sure you look for any speling msitakes cos as uv proved u dont really have neting else to do and if u find ne mistakes post them to 16 ICUDNTGIVEASHITABOUTTHELOSERCHECKINGMYSPELLINGS.

France havent got a hope in hell of winning to win the world cup, I think teams in the world cup are glad france went through because Ireland would of been a tougher test, France have obviously got better players but Ireland are a better team thats well organised.
