Should’ve been sneaky and just sang ‘Ra Ra Rasputin’
Bet you’re a right laugh at party’s.So saying sorry absolves?
People no longer responsible for their actions. Just say sorry and it never happened?

Let's also not forget the people from their own communities that they've murdered down the years, and the so-called "Disappeared", 3 of whom have never been found. These people deserve a voice too.Lots of frankly embarrassing IRA apologist nonsense on this thread but this takes the biscuit.
“To call the IRA terrorists is to support the propaganda of a military occupation”. Jesus. So blowing up little kids out shopping for football kits in Warrington on a Saturday morning, or murdering people in cold blood at a remembrance service - remembering of course the lives lost in defeating a horrific, evil Nazi regime in WWII - weren’t cowardly terrorist acts then? Those actions were comparable to what the Ukrainians are doing now?
I really do wonder about people.
I think if I had to come up with an insult for the Ukrainian army, comparing them to the IRA would probably be right at the upper end of the list.So at what point did Nelson Mandela stop being a terrorist and become a freedom fighter?
Are the Ukranians freedom fighters or terrorists?
Yes, we could be here arguing about it for as long as that but regarding the bolded bit - what, apart from the measly 212 people who were injured?!!! That wasn't the first time they'd bombed Manchester city centre either - like the first WTC attack in 1993, many have forgotten the 1992 IRA bombing. We could be here until United win the league again with tit for tat like like. The British Army and government have done a lot worse in N. Ireland and Ireland than blow up a building thankfully without any casualties like in the Arndale.
Not downplaying the horrendous atrocities the IRA have committed either by the way just think while we should remember history a lot of it is best placed being left there too. Thankfully for everyone those days are long over.
Both saw surges in membership and activity after being invaded by a foreign nationI think if I had to come up with an insult for the Ukrainian army, comparing them to the IRA would probably be right at the upper end of the list.
whatever you do don't listen to this: (cue thread going ballistic)I take it you haven't heard the City fans chant about a certain football club from Stretford travelling to the Italian capital to visit the Pontif?
I’m not looking to row my friend, 212 people injured by the IRA is nothing compared to hundred of thousands of raped, murdered and starved Irish people at the hands of the British crown. 2 wrongs don’t make a right and I’m obviously not trying to do that. While many have forgotten the 1992 bombing, even more seem to have forgotten the genocide and Colonialism violently forced on an island from intruders from Britain.Yes, we could be here arguing about it for as long as that but regarding the bolded bit - what, apart from the measly 212 people who were injured?!!!
