Is 37/38 too old to have kids?

One at 37, one at 39. It's not too old but there are sacrifices to make. We're just at the stage where a night out together is more than a once in a blue moon thing.

I have definitely found it easier with a new baby at 44/45 than I did with my first when I was 18. Getting up in the middle of the night is a bit of a killer but other than that, everything else is easier. I probably won't be saying that when I'm attempting to kick a ball around with him when I'm in my mid to late 50s though, I suppose.

Although people are living longer and staying healthier longer, in terms of reproduction the change is a lot slower. The peak is about 25. After that it's down hill until about 32. Late thirties - most all the fast swimmers have left the pool.

My second Mrs was 41 when she had her first. Her biggest regret in life that she didn't have another. We tried again for a few years but no luck! 3 is enough for me anyway.

I think you'll find the missionary position, with a bit of practise, is quite uncomplicated

Not had any, but it's something I want.

I was 38 when my lad was born. Don't think it was too old. Only downside (for him) was his junior school mates
asking why his grandad Met him out of school ;-)

They keep you young but completely fuck up your social life!!

The only time I feel old is when I'm perving at the mums at school who are 20 yrs younger than me and they're looking at me thinking "awwww ain't it nice his grandad picks him up" lol
