Is 9 Trophies In 10 Years A Good Return Under Sheikh Mansour’s Ownership?

Yes, excellent return

The competition for trophies is much more fierce than it was 10 years ago

Separate discussion really, but as much as some scoff at Chelsea’s short term, seemingly haphazard, approach, it evidently works.
They’ve finished 1st (86pts), 2nd (71pts), 6th (64pts), 3rd (75pts), 3rd (82pts), 1st (87pts), 10th (50pts), 1st (93pts) and 5th (70pts)
Average league placing= 3.5
Average points= 75.3

We’ve finished 5th (67pts), 3rd (71pts), 1st (89pts), 2nd (78pts), 1st (88pts), 2nd (78pts), 4th (66pts), 3rd (78pts) and 1st (100pts)
Average league placing= 2.4
Average points= 79.4

For average finishing place and points accumulated, we are the team of the decade. But at the end of the day it’s trophies that are counted and they’ve won more FACs, a CL and a EL.

Still one more year left this decade to come top of that list though!

In terms of the CL, this is our 8th consecutive season in it. It took the rags 7 years to win it, Chelsea and the Scousers even more, as with Arsenal to reach the final so no worries on that front yet.
Barcelona first played in it in 1960 and didn’t win it until 1992 and didn’t win it again until 2006.

Of course it is. Any professional body knows that benchmarking is critical to success. We are only 9yrs in to a project. The progress is staggering
