I hate that club, tragedy yes but the way they've milked it for years and glorified it makes me hate them more, it's the families I feel for!

yes a tragedy it was, milked it for fuckin years, then we had edwards selling his horse meat to the local schools dressed up as prime beef, its throughout the history of that team bent isnt the word

The way the families were treated was appalling and I'm sure the film, would darent show the 'club' in that light! As marco above said the whole lot if them have been corrupt and vindictive to the core since that bastard club was formed!

..........Quite why this is being shown now im not sure, theres also a documentry on Bobby Charlton this week to so I agree with them being on the telly a bit too much for my liking.

In fairness ticket touting is quite topical at the moment so this is probably justified.

I cant stand that Football club and its true the families were treated poorly but lets a have a wee bit of respect for City players Frank Swift and Matt Busby if nothing else.

Just watched the first hour and for whats it worth I think its been pretty tasteful and heartbreaking in parts.

Some people really do fulfill the bitter stereotype that the rags throw about at times.

As I've always said, a club built on the blood of the fallen, using the dead to market the "brand" of United and build sympathy year after year.

I despise that club.

Have I missed something ..... Has pate head died this week. BBC Fukin researches want sackin when did swamp hold 80 k. Should be shown red cunts attacking innocent families . Proper human interest that's what we want. Fuckin Easter Sunday I was hopin for life of Brian

true story
i was only 5 didnt know much about football,i knew my dad liked a team called city but he didnt force them on me, a relative gave me a rattle 'the old wooden ones' on the the rattle in red ink it said charlton, best and many others, the relative said here this is yours look after it, for days i took it out in the street and made it rattle,i was so happy with my new gift because it had charltons name on it, but i was suspicious i new there was somthing not right but it wasnt the rattle it was me, for reasons today cant explain had to get rid of the rattle so i took it to bits and put it in the bottom of the bin, to think i could have been brainwashed a red is unthinkable, but forces from beyond told me the rattle was not right for me or shall i say i wasnt right for the rattle

This 'programme' is more akin to that atrocious Pearl Harbor film. Way too OTT, acting is terrible, historically inaccurate.

I'm not watching it because it will probably be miles off target from the actual truth.
