There’s no way we will win the treble. Not a chance. Never going to happen in a million years. Let’s just focus on finishing second and hope Newcastle don’t catch us.
Same, this past month, City have completely taken over my life. Not helped by the fact I'm waiting to start my new job so have had a few weeks off. Every waking second of every day. Even been dreaming about City.Every single hour of every single day. But I am fully aware that as in the past one error or injury can destroy the dream.
It bleedin was, and nothing you say will convince me otherwise !My mate got a European Cup tattood on his calf the week before the CL final against Chelsea with, ‘MANCHESTER CITY CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE 2021’ underneath it. I have mates who still say it was his fault we lost that night because he jinxed it.
An underrated feature of being in for a treble is that winning a double -- a fucking double, can you imagine what you'd have given for a double 20 years ago -- is a "failure".Of course, but only because it’s a possibility.
In reality, I’d be happy with one of the three, over the fuckin moon with two, three is dreamland, but I’ll accept whatever’s coming our way.
