The question is, can Spuds and 'Arry keep hold of him, especially if they don't re-qualify for the CL this season.
If he keeps putting on these sort of displays it won't be long before somebody is going to come in with a big wedge of cash to tempt the Spurs Board. Before anyone says it, not necessarily City.
He's on display in the biggest football tournament in the world after the world cup which he will probably never see being in the Wales team and the big european clubs with the dosh (obviously this excludes ManU :D) may be looking at him and thinking, hmmm, wonder if we can turn the boy's head........... Also, Malouda is 30 this year and Chelsea are probably looking for a replacement unless they intend to use Zhirkhov (which doesn't look likely given how few games he gets).
I think Spuds are going to have to fight to keep him and if Chelsea or some of the others wave £100k/week salaries at him Spuds are going to find it difficult to maintain their wage structure.
