Is Bale.......

The question is, can Spuds and 'Arry keep hold of him, especially if they don't re-qualify for the CL this season.

If he keeps putting on these sort of displays it won't be long before somebody is going to come in with a big wedge of cash to tempt the Spurs Board. Before anyone says it, not necessarily City.

He's on display in the biggest football tournament in the world after the world cup which he will probably never see being in the Wales team and the big european clubs with the dosh (obviously this excludes ManU :D) may be looking at him and thinking, hmmm, wonder if we can turn the boy's head........... Also, Malouda is 30 this year and Chelsea are probably looking for a replacement unless they intend to use Zhirkhov (which doesn't look likely given how few games he gets).

I think Spuds are going to have to fight to keep him and if Chelsea or some of the others wave £100k/week salaries at him Spuds are going to find it difficult to maintain their wage structure.

Average player receiving way too much wankage from the same people that were doing the same thing to Rooney 8 months ago.

bale better than silva? hahahaha give me a break, bale is a very good player but completely one footed and not even in the same league as silva

Bale will be with us, Madrid, Inter, Chelsea, or the rags (part exchange deal) by the start of next season if Spurs don't achieve top four (even if they do, if us or Madrid go after him, they will struggle to refuse).

I hope they will actually make it to the top 4 and build on it. Not because I like them that much but so that the top 4 gets broken up for real and so that there would be more competition for the CL places. Everton and Villa are not going to do it...

Poor man's Kolarov

bale is better than kolarov. bale was mancini first choice , kolarov second choice.

I was being facetious - but I have to call you out for talking crap.... Mancini never looked at Bale. Kolarov was his first choice for left back.

Its always the same. Anyone who has a half decent game ever anywere there will always be a thread saying "LETS BUY HIM!!!!!!!!!!"

Talk about kids in a sweet shop.............

Kolarov is a marauding left back who can actually defend, Bale is shite defensively which is why he was on the verge of being loaned out.

Having been moved up the pitch he has found his best position and has proved to be a superb player, no doubt about it. However, when we get Super Mario is 100% fit he's going to have that attacking left sided position sewn up.
