A drop in his form, and to some extent Zabaleta's, was inevitable after Mancini ran them both into the ground last season. Kolarov was overlooked too often last season, while Injuries to Richards and Maicon meant Zabaleta couldn't be rotated enough.

It's the hardest position on the pitch, especially when we play without wingers, and all four are top players. However, just like our strikers, there will inevitably be spells when their form dips.

Well technically you can say that about anyone at City.

"Do you really think the CEO of a club in one of the best Leagues in the world isn't good enough?"

I love Gael, He's not started off that well this season, but his quality is there, when on form, I think hes the best Left Back in the league.

they had 2 on 1 at times , he had no protection.

Yep this also though when they hoofed it towards him he won no balls but like you said he was left on his own think Silva should of helped him out a bit more

Agree with this - Kolarov been better than Clichy this season but neither of them the answer IMO. Would like us to sign Baines.

He's not his former self, although his effectiveness going forward is somehow worse than before. Give him a run of games to regain form.
