To the people saying he's just in bad form, is it not just as plausible that he was just in good form when we won the title? Throughout his Arsenal career he was prone to switching off and making terrible defensive mistakes, especially in big games, so is it not more likely that he has just returned to his previous level? I think Mancini managed to drill some concentration into him, which he seems to have completely let go now he's not the manager anymore and he's now the liability that he was back in his Arsenal days unfortunately.

Let's be honest here, much as we all like him Zabs has been poor by his standards all season. Clichy is a busted flush at city, as is kolorov. That young french chap that plays in portugal ( his name escapes me at the moment) also plays centre half equally well. he's our huckleberry.

With 2 top fullbacks who can defend AND attack, it would make an even bigger difference to the team. The fact that we rely on fullbacks for width means they need to be able to attack. Whereas Clichy 90% of the time will pass back to a player Kolarov will put a cross in. I dont think we have a fullback on either side who can do both really well. Zabaleta is obviously really good but hes not the best attacking fullback around.

On Clichy i think its just a dip in form, hes shown how good he can be defensively.

Best Left back we've got. Kolorov has played well this season but he's not as good a defender as Clichy - good in midfield though so a great option to have
.

FFS last summer I was all for sacking Kolorov then he comes on a bomb, and Clichy drops in his performance now he plays like this looks like left back sorted if they both keep playing like this and we can strengthen elsewhere.
