Re: Is it true Aguero can't be banned?
First off Sergio was stupid, I know he was provoked but he's a top professional and should know better than to react like that. If he'd got a straight red he could have no complaints and if we'd had to play the last 10 minutes with 10 men we might have ended up conceding and possibly losing the match.
That said, Foy gave the foul, he therefore saw the coming together. This was part of the same incident. He shouldn't be charged for the same reason that Macmanaman wasn't charged the other week, where the FA spokesman said they couldn't review it because one of the officials saw the coming together (I wish they'd call it something else!)
I'd be furious if it had been the other way round, but the FA has stated clearly that they can't review an incident if one of the officials has seen it. It doesn't mean they won't find a way of charging Sergio, but by their own rules they shouldn't.
It's worth noting that Rafa isn't making a big deal about it at all, he was asked about it after the match and didn't want to talk about it, he was more concerned about the Vinnie on Torres penalty shout.
