I don't care if he is banned, that was nasty.
Never criticize one of your own in public no matter how wrong you think they were. There's enough rag loving cnuts in the media to do that already.

Well I never. Good post!

Re: Is it true Aguero can't be banned?

To be fair, given that he is usually such a nice guy and doesn't do these kinds of things, I think Luiz must have had it coming otherwise he would've never done such a thing. What he did was terrible don't get me wrong, but I'm almost sure there was more to it than it meets the eye.

Scored a good header though...

Luiz was assking for it, imo. I know most of the damning comments will be from Chelsea or u*d fans, butt if any of you genuine City fans are ready to demonise Kun, just remind yourselves what an honest player he is when he's unprovoked.

No it's not.

He couldn't be banned if the referee saw the incident, that much is true.

The thing is, the foul was a separate incident from the stamp. It's possible that Foy gave the free-kick but never saw the stamp.

There's no excuses for Aguero, if he gets banned then it will be his own fault and deserved. Simple as that.

That's certainly the bullshit excuse Foy will doubtless use to get Aguero banned, although every man and his dog knows that he blew for the 'stamp'. In reality, Sergio should get away with it like the Stoke lad did for the challenge on Garcia, but we all know he won't

Re: Is it true Aguero can't be banned?

That United commentater on i.t.v said Agureo could get a ban. That United commentater should jog on.

Re: Is it true Aguero can't be banned?

First off Sergio was stupid, I know he was provoked but he's a top professional and should know better than to react like that. If he'd got a straight red he could have no complaints and if we'd had to play the last 10 minutes with 10 men we might have ended up conceding and possibly losing the match.

That said, Foy gave the foul, he therefore saw the coming together. This was part of the same incident. He shouldn't be charged for the same reason that Macmanaman wasn't charged the other week, where the FA spokesman said they couldn't review it because one of the officials saw the coming together (I wish they'd call it something else!)

I'd be furious if it had been the other way round, but the FA has stated clearly that they can't review an incident if one of the officials has seen it. It doesn't mean they won't find a way of charging Sergio, but by their own rules they shouldn't.

It's worth noting that Rafa isn't making a big deal about it at all, he was asked about it after the match and didn't want to talk about it, he was more concerned about the Vinnie on Torres penalty shout.
