Thank you. I will leave it.

Was getting emotional doing Christmas shopping. Really thought seeing her was the right thing to do. But prob isn't so I wont. Couple beers now with mates, listening to oasis. So all good.

Have a good xmas Blues.

Don't agree but respect your decision, have a great Christmas and New Year Mark.

My ex didnt answer or text back anyway. I'm out the picture.

For now mate. You've done what you could, that's what's important.

Haha well done Danny, it's going to be the hardest but best part of your life. Treasure the early years. Happy Christmas.

The world's going to pot. Wouldn't want kids of mine growing up in it.

Yeah, honestly I feel like that a lot of the time, it's bad. But it wouldn't stop me, you just do everything you can to leave the world in the best possible shape for them and teach them everything you can. It's all you can do.

Me too. My kids think there is gold at the end of the rainbow, literally! I mean, they will find out how shit, unmagical, and down right depressing the word is soon enough. You can't keep them in a bubble though can you.

At least they wont have to go through school with the same City many of us did. Easy street for them now!

The world's going to pot? Get a grip this is the safest it's ever been to raise a child. I have a 2 year old he is a pain in the arse but i love him to bit's. Could never be without him.

Me and the wife made the choice not to have kids but to look after animals instead and up to now after 22 years have no regrets at all.

each to their own mate. regrets can come from both sides. i suppose animals rarely let you down. believe me kids, even the best ones, sometimes do.

Do fun uncle's count?

On a serious note I am only 19 so kids for me are a distant future for the time being but being a parent sounds terrifying at the moment. The fact that you and maybe your spouse stand between them being the next Bill Gates or Hitler a very scary prospect. Especially those teenage years where your kids are starting to go solo and all you can do is Nug them here and there so they don't fall of the ledge.

Hmm...I don't know about having kids anymore lol...

Just phoned my eldest daughter in Astley and spoken to my two Grand Daughters aged 8 & 9 who shouted "Love you Grandad Alan".Thats why I love being a parent.
Am now waiting for my other daughter to arrive from Birmingham, with her hubby and Grandson Noah who is two years of age.
Wonderful time of the year for having your own kids and grand kids around.
