Yeah, honestly I feel like that a lot of the time, it's bad. But it wouldn't stop me, you just do everything you can to leave the world in the best possible shape for them and teach them everything you can. It's all you can do.

Me too. My kids think there is gold at the end of the rainbow, literally! I mean, they will find out how shit, unmagical, and down right depressing the word is soon enough. You can't keep them in a bubble though can you.

No you can't, but keep them happy and optimistic while they're children and be there for them when they're not. Haven't done the second part yet and not looking forward to it but. it will be done. :)

With kids, I don't have any yet...times ticking
I've always wanted kids but lately I really don't know if I have the patience to be a parent. I'm an introvert and need time to myself otherwise I go crazy and my sisters kids drive me up the wall and I can hardly stand half an hour in the same room with them as nasty as that sounds. I dunno maybe in a few years I will think differently and I would love to take them to their first City game and all that good stuff but right now I don't think it's likely.
