Is mancini a great manager?

Shirley - if I may call you that? You are spot on - despite the protestations, apart from the scousers I doubt there is a more media gullible audience.

Garcia for Tevez when we need a win. That's how great Mancini is.

I'll keep saying this till the day he has gone. We will not win as much as what the players are capable of under this manager, if he stays for the duration of his contract.

He's a tactical buffoon and what is more it's becoming more and more apparent to me that the players think so too.

Mancini is getting 75% out of this team. We need someone who can get 100% out of them or we'll be chasing United's shadow again soon.

We have the best squad of players in the league. We haven't got the best manager.

look at what he has won in his career as a player and a manager, the guy is class, and he is a winner without doubt, pointless question really, we are reigning champions, keeping it is harder than winning it, we are unbeaten two points off the top, champions league is a learning curve, all the established teams took years to get used to playing in it, money is irrelevant, also we have had two seriously hard groups, stop griping and enjoy, get behind your team we used to be a laughing stock

He is scared. That is ewhy Garcia had to come in for Tevez.

He wanted to push Yaya forward which is a good idea. He doesnt have the balls for that without getting in someone from the bench who covers Yaya's original position.

When we have to win, 10 minutes to go agains a wHU who are defending very deep, it would be enough to get Barry off and a fresh Garcia could do well alone in that DM role without Yaya (as Nasri was covering as well as he was deep too.)

We probably wouldnt win anyway as we was missing from every angle no matter what. Still no big reason for a defensive sub just because Yaya is moving a little bit higher up.

There is some risk in it, also some extra chance in attacks not being defensive.

Sinclair sub was too late, maybe he thought it is time for some real pace on the wings?
Why? Dzeko wasnt good enough as a winger without good touches and pace?

Like Kolarov as a right winger last time...

Great manager? No.

Good manager? Well yes.

But we are a good team with him already. Do we want to be great?

All though you are right in what you say, so is also DD in his post above. Even if we are the reigning champions ans sometimes (last season) played like a world leading side, I'd say generally we are underachieving with the players we have at our disposal in mind.

Asking questions, or considering hypothetical scenarios is not the same as not supporting the team.

Spot on!

As a set if fans we seem to take total notice and bite to every single thing written or said about us. We get all flappy and annoyed and start crying about how everyone is against us. If I was a journalist I'd come on here and love reading all the posts that people put up, then I'd go and write my next story to wind everyone up. I'd also see that lots of people seem to what what I'm writing (the total bollocks I'm writing) is actually starting to be acknowledged, so I'd go and write another story to feed the gullible.

It's bloody stupid! People need to wake up. Take no notice make your own minds up and don't make decisions about things in the midst of poor-ish form or, better still, not during the season whatsoever.

A very good domestic manager but not quite good enough in Europe.
