Is Mancini Going Crazy?

If Mancini is so good a manager, as some on here won't have any criticism of him, why was he sacked from Inter Milan?

Because he was unable to deliver Champions League success.

Don't think it was due to "winning an Inter club record 3 consecutive Serie A titles and a European record 17 consecutive league game victories stretching nearly half-a-year, becoming Inter's most successful manager in 30 years. Furthermore, Mancini guided the clubs he managed to a record 5 consecutive Coppa Italia finals from 2004 to 2008, with Lazio once in 2004 and with Inter in the following 4 seasons."

ermmmmm but apart from that what have the Romans ever done?

because they had an argument with team's doctor. who also happens to be the family doctor of the owner.

And, following your own line or argument, why didn't inter milan sign you up to replace him?
Probably (and I'm only guessing here) it's the case that there's only you who thinks that you're better than he is at what he's done so successfully for so long .. . am I right?

Not having a knock at you mate - just trying to slip a bit of reality into a subject that seems driven by emotional disappointment based on unrealistic expectations.
I'd be delighted if we we're playing beautiful football all the time and winning everything but I also recognise the bare fact that RM is trying to get the best out of a squad that's going through a radical change / new players / new systems / new style of play . . it takes time and he deserves the time to do it that's all.

Mancini talks bollocks in interviews, never says anything of consequence...just like his mentor Eriksson.
It's always banal nothingness with about 30 'eez important' thrown in.

'sometimes 1 point is better than 0 points, so the draw eez important'

'you can win and you can lose against Manchester, so I prefer not to lose'

Di Matteo sacked at West Brom, Ancelotti at Chelsea, Capello, Mancini....not pulling up many trees are they these Italian managers. What is the obsession?

well... not all teams can be lucky as your to have a good old scottish baconface one

OK

Mancini is being over hyped because he is a glamorous foreign name. Serie A is easy to win. Mourinho won more in Italy than Mancini ever had. Also Mancini won because of the refereeing scandal. Check out Capello's views on Mancini's managerial abilities!! (clue he doesn't rate him). Also there is an interview with Zlatan Ibrahimovic on the BBC from a year or so back. He doesn't rate Mancini either.
