Is mark hughes manchester citys man to lead us forward?????

We should win every game by 5 or 6 goals playing like Brazil. And Hughes has never managed a team that has won the Champions League. It's a disgrace.

Maybe a good time to start such a nonsensical thread would be when having spent all these millions we are floundering in mid table mediocrity or fighting relegation but weve played three and won three,no goals against, whatdya want,a bleeding cherry on top aswell!!!

Haha. This ^^

Tbh I would keep mark hughes just for his hairstyle. D

he has'nt done enough to say he IS the man, he looks like he may be though.not done a lot wrong imo, cleaned up a club from top to bottom, in its ideals and practices.
the 3 teams we have played so far although not world beaters will score against the other top four challengers, they did'nt against us, they will also nab points against the other top four challengers, they did'nt off us.

the only fear i have about the next two games is that they have come a little too early in the season for us, they have had their squads in place for ages, we are only just developing, regardless of the results of those games i reckon we'll fair much better when the rematches take place.

so, early days yet to start banging the hughes drum too loudly but i am fully behind him and more than confident we will be a success this season.

its fair to say had we got capello in then yes we would be stronger again.

good post
the key being we should be fully behind him and give him support
if things don't pan out in the long run then we can get the knives out, but not now.

Your right about changing the club from top to bottom Bill, prior to Hughes (and GC) the set up was very amateur to say the least, the big thing that needed to change was the whole survival mentality, victory was not being relegated, it was in the clubs DNA, I still think some fans are still in the same mindset!

TBH i wish that was the case
i think some are just so shortsighted and hate hughes due to his background

I do believe Hughes will be the correct man as the club for tge long term, however do I believe he can deliver a trophy in the next couple years? I am not sure about this and this is what a lot of people including me will be expecting (or hoping) to an extent.
