You base your assertions on wishful thinking and idle speculation, Mancini is the Man, stability in management is the way forward for our club not knee jerk reaction to a minor blip in our forward momentum
Yes, wishful thinking. I suppose we have a few FACTS to look at from my "wishful thinking"
Mancini:
Three Inter titles on the trot, failure in Europe each year he was in charge.
Mourinho:
Retained title and got to the first knockout round of CL in first year at Inter.
Retained title, won Coppa Italia, and won the Uefa Champions League in his SECOND YEAR.
But hey, we need stability, just like Inter did. If the entire financial stakes of the club, and its ability to grow didn't hinge on decent runs in the CL (NO I DIDN'T SAY "WIN"), then I'd be totally in agreement with you.... but unfortunately you're being small minded.
Anyone happy with winning the league year in and year out. Fantastic, I'm cool with that as well. Problem is, that's not the goal for the man who has invested more than everyone on this forum will make collectively in their entire lives. Its not fucking rocket science.
