Is now the time to consider Mancini's tenure at the club

This might be shaping up just the way Txiki and Soriano want. The bad summer transfers were on Marwood's watch, the poor poor performance attributable to staff they didn't hire and players they didn't buy.

I think they will pull the trigger on Mancini at the end of the season or earlier if we start free falling. Mancini can still save his job if he turns things around and wins the league, but that's a hell of a feat when the new CEO and DOF probably want their own manager in.

Just guessing, of course. Put yourself in their shoes for a moment. Would you want your jobs dependent on a foreign manager you didn't hire, or your own countryman who won you everything at Barca? It's not hard to figure out what they logically desire.

No doubt, however the trick is to persuade Pep to take the job.

I really believe some fellow blues are in denial about our performances this season. If this carries on there's no way we're winning the League.

We're second in the league, with a smaller gap now than there was 6 games before the end of last season... when we won the league.

If we've been bad, how should the rest of the league's manager be feeling!?
Mate, a few weeks ago I could maybe understand your point but not now. It's the performances more than the gap itself that's worrying us, and that's saying summat with a 7 point gap! I've said it for a while that we seem to create hardly any clear cut chances. Take Liverpool for example, they have no problem creating chances they just lack that little edge in the finishing department. We need pace, our play is one paced at times and teams have our little tippy tappy shit figured out.

Name one team that park the bus against liverpool. Apples and oranges mate.

Biggest load of bullshit ever posted on here, are you on drugs?

Weak response bordering on laughable because you've been unable to tell him why he's wrong.

More than anything, the chances of Soriano and Begiristain wanting the Manager to share their vision for City is almost certain. Hopefully they don't want City to fail but it's otherwise a perfectly fair theory. Mancini's record in Europe is poor and we've not been performing to our full potential this season in comprarison to how scintillating we were last season.

Name...................................

Taken.

The time to make a decision on Mancini isn't even close.

The guys in charge will continually be looking six months, one year, two years, ten years ahead. They'll be doing it after wins, losses, top of the table, 7 points back.

While we're still in with a shout of back to back league titles there won't be any serious action being considered.

I'm totally behind Mancini and wouldn't want the club to sack him now or at the end of the season. However, we need to adress our problems.

We have no width and so teams are happy to pack the centre of the pitch and we can't find a way through.

Without Barry, Yaya feels the need to stay nearer our area than the oppositions. This leads to Tevez dropping back to where Yaya should be and Aguero dropping out of the area. When we win the ball, there's no fucker in position.

Shooting practice. Why when the ball is at our forwards feet in or on the edge of the area, do they seem reluctant to pull the trigger? Why when 35 yards out with 3 players in front of them do they decide that a daisy cutter is going to beat a top goalkeeper?

Tempo. Our build up play is so slow it becomes boring. I can watch Arsenal, Barcelona and Spain play tiki-taki all day long because they do it quickly. Our idea is to lumber towards the opposition goal allowing them all the time in the World to get into position.

An inability to understand what kind of challenge we are likely to find at places such as The Stadium of Light, Goodison Park and Upton Park. We always seem to be shocked by the grittiness of the home team at these places.

Finally, if Joleon Lescott upfront was the only thing thought of on the bench then we are in serious shit.

It shouldn't even need debating. We are woefully underperforming, this has been obvious for some time.

He's done his best but unfortunately it isn't good enough,we should have made significant progress on the back of last season,in reality we have probably gone backwards.

Our tactics and gameplans have been figured out and we don't have an alternative, the team lacks vital ingredients, incoming transfers were baffling and substandard, the squad is probably weaker and Mancini's man management is questionable.

It's time to act now,not at the end of the season, our football is predictable, boring and well below par,so,if an alternative is attainable, then why wait?

Very few teams win it back to back pal, that's the pre m is such a great league..

Teams only have one game plan, park a bus plan.

Because folk like you will be saying they want the new guy out after three poor performances.
