We win never ever ever win the Champions League with Mancini. He hasn't a clue i Europe. In my opinion he has taken us as far as he can.
Two Clowns!!!!!!!

It's a forum people are entitled to opinions or am I logged onto the Daily Mail?

If you don't start tubthumping about Mancini on here when we lose or you're a clown or some kind of doomonger. Its hardly surprising that I am starting to spend more time in the cellar where people do think a bit more laterally.

Not yet. If we do well in the league then the owners will be satisfied with no CL.

Re: Is now the time to consider Mancini's tenure at the clubs

Domestically he has always been a sound manager, but in the Champions League he has been some what of a laughing stock, look at his time at Inter, was a shambles in Europe and as soon as Mourinho came he won it, says a lot in my opinion, not over reacting due to a bad result as I questioned his appointment, having said that he has led us to trophies, I can't see who would replace him at this moment in time anyway.

Winning that trophy is not the be all and end all. Having a competent manager who can handle the pressure and stars we gave and playing the brand of football we want to play is important. Any fooker can get lucky and win it but I takes a strong man to keep this club challenging

No, not only because he's just signed a 5 year contract but because it's ridiculous to say so. Chelsea went through 5-6 managers to try and win the Champions League even Mourinho and Ancellotti who had won it previously and failed.

It took a novice manager in De Matteo to win it.

Fergie has won it twice in 26 years.

If we're going to judge a manager on european success then we will go through managers like no tomorrow and become another Chelsea and Madrid.

they got them out of the group stages tho

The first time Ferguson got United into the Champions League, they didn't even get INTO the group stages as Galatasaray knocked them out in a 2-legged tie beforehand. The following season, they qualified for the group stages but didn't progress in a group containing Barca, Galatasaray, and Gothenburg. This was despite United winning the league 2 seasons running and playing easily the best football in the country.
