Is Rodri better than Yaya ?

Yaya was an absolute beast in his prime; he was immense in the run-in in 13/14. But Rodri is acknowledged by many as the best defensive midfielder in the world. There's no definitive way, in my opinion, of comparing them. Let's be glad that we have enjoyed the best of both of them.

Where has this 'different' position come from ? He played the same position as Rodri, but if we needed a goal he moved forward, but he started as a holding midfielder at City.Both great players but Rodri pips it because of his attitude, as you say different positions and abilities.
