It would appear that Tevez is better at goal scoring in the Premier league at City, than Rooney is at Utd.

Tevez got 20 goals in 29 appearances = 0.6897 goals per game.

It's immaterial whether he's better or not, but on the whole I'd probably say no. He's certainly better than we thought when we signed him though, and nothing amuses me more or pisses the rags off more, than hearing "Fergie Fergie sign him up"
Tevez is genuinely world class and it must break rag hearts all over London every time he scores for us. I love him.

Tevez has always had goals in him. The rags fucked up with this 1 keeping Beraflop over Tevez could cost them the league this year.
Tevez has shown at City that he is truely a world class player. Works hard great movement and a great finisher what else do you want from the player to judge the 2 players there is not much in the difference between them and most of the teams around the world would love either player in there teams.

Rooney's the second best player in the world and the first is an Argie. Unfortunately it's not Tevez though, he has some way to go to overtake Rooney.

On the present form of both i'd go for Carlos.
Tevez has gone thoruh a lot off the pitch in the last couple of months but still manages to keep his head in the game. His goal against Chelski was as good as any i've seen the granny shagger score this season.

No he isn't, he'd be at the bottom end of a top 10 imo. And before this season he was nowhere near it, the rest have been in and around there for years.
His close control is simply fantastic, his work ethic is great but his consistency infront of goal isn't.

I'd have quite a few of the Barca players in front of him, not to mention Ronaldo. And have you seen Higuain in front of goal.
And for me Tevez is the equal of Rooney at the moment.

This is just like when people were calling Tevez crap cos he didn't score many and now people are saying he's nearly best in the world. Tevez has always been class and always scored goals, just like Rooney. Just because they're doing better than ever this season, doesn't mean they've been incosistent players.
Rooney's all round game is better than probably everyone on that list (including Messi), but people are only just starting to take notice because he's bagging nearly every game. He'd be better than Messi too if Messi wasn't unhuman. Take the blue tinted glasses off boys.
Don't think you can say that Higuain is more consistant at all. He's a cracking player but I don't think he's at rooneys level. Iniesta has also been out of form. As red nose said Tevez is NOT a 20 goal a season man,he`s a 30 goal a season man. Rooney is the second best player in the world, with Tevez 3rd.

Tevez is not as good as Rooney, but i'd say that he's the closest thing to Rooney in world football.
