Is the England national team good or bad for City players?

The quality within the England team generally among the players and coaching staff must be regarded as a downgrade to what City players are used to during a PL week. How many of the England players would be a straight swap for the non-English players we have. Pope for Eddie, Slabhead for Ruben or Aymeric, Henderson for Gundog?
