Is the Manchester Derby the biggest derby in England?

I'm not suggesting this is by any means the biggest derby, but Portsmouth v Southampton is supposed to be a very bitter rivaly.

It goes back decades to when scabs from Southampton were used to break a dockworkers strike in Portsmouth (actually it could be the other way round). There's also the fact that Portmouth is a Royal Navy town where as Southampton is a Merchant Navy town.

Good call.I've been in Portsmouth when they played and I was slightly taken aback by the "fierceness" of it.They do not like each other.
Reminded me of a mini "old firm" game.More than just football.
