Fact is he has represented the club at U19's and the EDS and now the first team.
At any other club he would be regarded as a product of the academy.
Why some of our own want to tow a line rival fans and the media would run with im not too sure?

Not really had a chance to catch up on paper talk etc today, may i just ask, have the media gone mental for Nacho and his hattrick yesterday? you know like they did when Martial came on to the scene and scored a couple of goals.

I think some clubs would regard him as an academy product, but if we're being honest he isn't. Great young player, and someone we've improved, and hopefully he'll get better.Whose then if not ours?

I believe he came to us at 16, that's 3 years he has been here, credit where credit is due for getting him to where he is. But the thread is about the media ,or at least a couple of them breaking rank and acknowledging we do have a fit for purpose facility. Like a couple of posters though don't know where the big burly comes from.

Iheanacho was born in Imo.[1] As a youth he represented Taye Academy inOwerri. His performances for Nigeria in the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup led to interest from clubs in Europe. As he was a non-eu minor, It is illegal for us to have signed him before he turned 18.
