Is this real or not ?????????

Last week me and wife went away for a few days with some friends. (three couples all together)

Before we went to bed we all arranged to meet at 9am for breakfast. When we got there, there was already a couple there and the woman looked quite unwell, very pale. She said some lights in their room came on at 4am of their own accord, and shortly after she got up to switch them off, she saw the ghost of a man dressed in a black suit in the room. Hadn't slept a wink since.

I'm an electrician and explained away the lights thing because the same thing happened in our room, although I didn't have a clue what time it was. I explained that the lights at the doorway operated on a movement sensor (like you get in a burglar alarm) and there was an over-ride switch on the wall. I said maybe you two were wriggling around so much in your beds that you'd triggered the sensor, anyway I fixed the over-ride switch in all three of our rooms.

When the third couple arrived at breakfast, they had a similar story to tell. 4am, man in a black suit, shit themselves, no sleep.

the next night nothing happened, but the third night the lights in my room came on at 4am, with the o/r still activated! Have to say I shit meself and we both hid under the covers, lol. We found out in the morning that the same thing had occured in the others rooms, lights on, both hiding.

We asked the hotel staff had people reported strange things, and the guy just laughed and said 'oh yes'.

Make of it what you will, I didn't see anything but I was too pussy to look! It was very strange the two girls reporting the same things independantly from different rooms, and it wasn't a wind up because they were genuinely scared. I know for a fact that the lights were on o/r and could not be switched on be movement alone. The switch would have to physically operated.

I stayed for a night in haunted house in preston with six mates, did it tripping (LSD) for what we thought would be a laugh, as you can imaging not the best idea, opened the window and legged it at one point.

Because of the ghosts obviously not the LSD

Yeah. the LSD had no effect on the noises. Honest !

I've just remembered a story my friend told me, last week.

My friend works at a pub and told how that week, the manager was taking stock of a delivery into the cellars. One of the loaders came back up and asked why there was a guy sat in a chair in cellar. The manager said there's nobody sat in the cellar as that was be stupid. Turning on the light, there was a chair, but an empty one.

The loader, apparently, was visibly shook as he'd saw the figure clear as day and swore he wasn't loading at that pub again!

Was actually quite a modern place in Pisa, Italy. Not all the kind of place you might expect ghost stories, it was only built in 2003.

When we got home did a bit of a search on the place and could only find this one review:

Hotel Repubblica Marinara
Save Review
1 of 5 stars
DumptruckMotorcade
Scotland
4 Nov 2007
0/1 found this review helpful

Furnishings were impressive. But the TV didn't work, the lights in the bathroom didn't work, the controls for lighting other parts of the suite made no sense. The light in the entryway mysteriously turned on and off all night long.

All in all, this place gave me the friggin' creeps.
Kinda backs up our experience a little?

Anyway Claire, how you doing? Not spoke to you for a while hope things are good
