Absolute no-brainer.

Echoing Ric's comments, of course we have more pressing requirements but you don't turn down a player of Isco's calibre.

IMO, he is perfect for the kind of systems Pep will want to implement, can see him becoming "our Iniesta".

He's probably the type of player we need least on this team. Unfortunately he's the kind of player our rivals need most. Chelsea and rags would die to have this kid right now.

Inexpensive, young and remarkably talented too. Even if he flops here, we won't lose much. 2m more than Lukaku. If we pull this off at this price we're laughing.

Not sure that Real madrid will let him go after working so hard to sign him but I'd love to see him at City. Lots if reports repeating the same report that is now days old. Perhaps its possible there maybe some developments after tonight's game?

Collecting stars is a very dangerous game; our fastest (and probably only) route to the summit of European football is the Atletico/Dortmund method, a dynamic, balanced composition of compatible players all pulling in the same direction. By far our best European performance to date was Sevilla away, primarily based on the work ethic of Raheem, Navas and especially Fernandinho.

I absolutely adore Isco as a player, but I'm not sure he's the right man for us given what we already have and urgently require.
