Why? Nothing's changed as far as I know, other than Ballague saying it won't happen.

More that yesterday it was said we were at an advanced stage which suggests the deal being close but today you saying if Rafa gets sacked it could all change, I would assume if we were at such an advanced stage the board would still complete the move irrelevant of the manager.

I just feel this transfer is too good to be true in January, especially when Balague has said there is zero chance of it happening. The only way this transfer would go ahead, is if we throw ridiculous amounts of money at them and Isco literally FORCES this transfer through all month and refuses to play. Since when do players like Isco come available in january? Just can't see it happening, maybe in the summer though.

To answer truthfully, players like Isco become available in January when they are not getting game time and have a major international competition in the coming summer. They are then incentivised to find first team football.

Balague put all his credibility on the line regarding Falcao to us, in fact he's done it a few times and has subsequently been proven wrong.
