Isco

What we've been missing

@WhoScored
Isco: Malaga's 20 year-old midfielder has successfully dribbled past an opponent more times (14) in the CL this season than any other player

Who is 2nd,3rd...10th in the table ?

Dribbles per game (and with 3 or more matches):

1. Isco - 4.8
2. Hleb - 3.3
3. Ramires - 3.0
4. Willian - 3.0
5. Ribery - 2.7

His assist against Milan was unreal, simialar to what we see from Silva.

Who ever signs him is getting gold dust, fair play to Malaga if he ends up staying there.

How Messi and Hazard are not top of the list !

Messi supports play better and passes more than ever now, you very rarely see him going on wonder runs like a few seasons ago.

He is still selfish but he is more of a team player.

I havent seen anything special from Hazard in terms of rinsing players in the Champions League this season, so I am can see why he is not in that shortlist.

Isco has also played more accurate through balls (6) than any other player in the CL this season

You do know that some of your posts sound utterly ridiculous?
There's nowt ridiculous about that. Seeing how players react when things don't go their way or their backs are against the wall is a big thing.

His back wasn't against the wall though. There was no real pressure applied to him specifically after having gone 1-0 down. Anyone who has watched him previously knows that he's not the type to let his head drop and stop playing his game.

Yesterday they opened a thread for Falcao in general forum because Athletico were playing, so whats wrong with pumping this already existing thread when Isco was playing ?

Malaga were 1 down, and in these times you expect the good players to show their worth.
