Just come up on SSN that "Manchester City remain confident of signing Isco".

I saw the same yesterday at 1pm, but apparently they've been saying the same thing since Saturday evening. I suppose no news is....... well no news.

The media are mostly guessing like most of us are, but irrespective of the outcome the journey's been emotional. :-)

Nothing I don't think pal. Betting suspended on Isco, mood seems to have taken a turn for the worst, something about Twitter and the Spanish press being arse holes.. Just waiting for someone ITK to pop on with some good news and get the gifs flowing again!

Oh, and as I know (and this I will put myself into the firing line with this) that the poster on another forum who said that he was told by a first-teamer IS good mates with that first-teamer (as in 'he can text him & get replies'), the the only thing to doubt is whether the first teamer (English bloke) has it right.

(I guess that everyone who has worked for a company has heard rumours from within that company, but it doesn't necessarily make them right).

So, in short, flap all you want but there are very positive rumblings coming from within our camp.

Is the player in question flake-free?

They were funny, but let's make sure this doesn't all descend into a collection of irreverent animated GIF's again.


Got to stay current through the swing shift with my hours on this end of the world... didn't feel like much happened.

1) Betting was suspended. Some people think this is a good sign. Some people think this is a bad sign.

2) The owner of Malaga tweeted that Isco's fate is in his hands, and he'd like to sell to a Spanish club. Some people think this is a good sign. Some people think this is a bad sign.

3). A guy on the forum promised that he's never kicked a girl in the fanny, which in turn got retweeted by somebody else. Everybody seemed to be in agreement that this was a good thing.

Not saying anything more on the identity of the player (as it's not up to me) but the ITKer doesn't exactly keep it as a massive secret.

Players do get told because, a first teamer informed someone on this forum that we activated aguero release clause before anyone knew about it. And that was an English player but at the time I thought it was Adam Johnson.

In my gut I feel like this one is over. I've sat through threads for Ronaldinho, Kaka, RVP and Hazard and this one is pretty much identical in tone. The experience from those sagas tells me that this is more than likely a no goer. Of course, there's always that glimmer of hope until something is officially announced but be careful of having high expectations on this one.
