i'm on holiday pal, not interested if i'm honest, hope we can bag him but he wont make a mega difference! we NEED a striker!

Cheers mate, dunno why everyone was having a go at me then for my comment. Was just a bit worried that the few people who obviously know stuff like you got so quiet...worried because to me that indicated that Madrid got him that`s all

made me piss myself, all the madrid based media shit printed made you believe theyd got him, and when people who know stuff here say nothing that makes you think theyve got him as well?

Hope you had your nappies on

not sure if posted - but found this on Marca

Isco is shy, introvert and reserved, has no tattoos or taste for the bizarre. He shies away from the limelight, but his move to Real Madrid is set to change all that. Once there, he will face a new set of demands and challenges, as well as a step up that will set him on the road to stardom.

Pellegrini turned him into a footballer. Isco, the dedicated apprentice, was a sponge. He started his first season on the bench, but ended it marshalling the midfield alongside Cazorla. When Arsenal signed Cazorla, he did not hesitate in carrying the team, becoming the example to follow in the Chilean coach's associative playing style.

Iniesta is his hero and he marvels watching Maradona, Zidane and Ronaldinho's technical talents. His dog, a cinnamon-coloured Labrador, is called Messi.

Some would say he is just another central midfielder, but that hinges on Ancelotti's tactics and who leaves the Bernabeu this summer. For both Malaga and Spain's under-21s, his starting position was on the left side of his team's second line of attack. He would start out wide before setting up camp tight to the opposition's holding midfielders. His first bone of contention will be with Cristiano Ronaldo, Real Madrid's undisputed false number '11'.

He will compete with Özil for a place in the team, although he will probably push the German out onto the wing during games in which Real's attacking players face a less physical game. Isco will take on the role of a number '10', sitting in just behind the frontman, keeping possession and directing his team's play between the lines for a side genetically predisposed to playing a very direct attacking style of football. Modric, Özil and Isco will all fight it out for one or two places in Real's starting XI, depending on what Ancelotti decides with regards to Di María

@RafaelH117 Its bizarre, that's why I think there is more to come. I want this guy at City more than anyone.

Rafael Hernández Rafael Hernández ‏@RafaelH117 5m

@coolandthegangs Yes, what I can guarantee is that Isco hasn't sign with RMA yet, only agreed terms and signing without a counter bid.

Rafael Hernández ‏@RafaelH117 31m

@adlan_suzanne Nope, I said he was set to join after the U21s, MCFC lowered the bid, Real Madrid took their chances, that's what I said.

@adlan_suzanne Still, MCFC can still sign Isco, but club unwilling to pay the release clause. Málaga Owner favors selling the player to other spanish club.

If this is true then it makes you wonder what the f**k City are playing at.

Makes you wonder why the fuck we happily splashed a reported 40m € on Fernandinho but refuse to cough up the money for Isco

Ockham's razor moment.

1) That guy on twitter knows fuck all, like 99% of twitter.
2) Isco and his dad preferred the biggest club in the world over us.
3) Madrid is rich, we're rich, the money isn't an issue, it's the player's preference to play at Madrid.

Seems more simple than trying to reason out why our trillionaire owner would sanction €40m in Ukraine but won't here.

Not to start an argument over the Ferdandinho fee but the €40m that was quoted on Shatktar's website was if every performance clause was met, we are talking about the quad every year of his contract, plus x Brazil caps, player of the year etc to get to that €40m.

So the truth is no one knows if we paid €39m with €1m performance or €24m with €16m performance.

We can say if we over paid in 11 months.
