Isco

Could we loan Negredo out until January and then review the situation. Possibly to Malaga or Porto if they were interested and it could help develop relationships between the clubs.

He is out for 3 months and it is better that City rehabilitate the player than send him out on loan.

If we need a squad place for Isco then Negredo is not going to play many games up to January. I like Negredo, but he is injured.

When he is fit enough to play, a one month loan may get him some matches. Other than that it may be just the domestic 'League Cup' he plays in. What if we get knocked out early.

It was just a thought.

I will be guided by the Club.

dzeko and negredo are dispensable IMO.

In favour of who? where would we find better quality prepared to battle it out alongside Jovetic and Aguero?
I don't mean we should just get rid,my point is that if world class players like isco become available then we should go for it and replace current players that aren't up to the standard of 'world class'.
To answer your question of dzeko and negredo hyperthetically leaving then the first obvious replacement would be isco who could give silva the odd rest and also play in negredo's position of 2nd striker.
As for another replacement then surely there are strikers out there with the required quality that would jump at playing for us,dzeko esc........benzema??? Cavani??? Lukaku?? Off the top of my head.

I'm sure when the club want to announce something it will be uploaded on the official website.
Yes of course but this guy is a must.
He is of the silva nasri ilk who we haven't got cover for at the moment and could also back up the main striker.

He's not a main striker ...

Are you sure that Isco is ready for the "world class" moniker? Having world class potential is not the same as actually being world class.

I posted this on another thread, but it sits in this one better.

Assuming Mangala is done, Garcia & Guidetti out, this leave us with the 17 for the league being -

W Caballero
B Sagna
P Zabaleta
M Demechelis
V Kompany
E Mangala
A Kolarov
Fernando
Fernandinho
Y Toure
J Navas
S Nasri
D Silva
S Jovetic
S Aguero
E Dzeko
A Negredo

Who makes way for Isco ?

I personally would not like to lose any of the above for Isco.

Seems we have four options.

Option A

If we can't sell or loan any of the so called deadwood, players will need to be told they will only be considered for domestic cup competitions (Garcia,) where there is no limit on squad players.

Option B

Players told they will only be permitted to play in either Champions league or Premier League but not both

Negredo (Injured and out for a couple of months but will return in time for some of group games but will be included in prem games from( Jan 2015) if this not done then
Demichelis (Considered for premier league but not Champions League given will have just returned from WC duty, allows Mangala to get feet under table) can find a new club in January 2015.
Cabellero ( Could be told not playing CL until Jan 2015 his spot will be given to EDS under 21 keeper instead, but will come into the squad in January if MDM leaves)

Option c

A combination of A and B above using January window to get rid if they don't take the hint this summer - really getting nasty but this will have to be done

Option D

Isco joins on basis will only be playing Prem League and Domestic cups or CL and domestic cups and not both.

Just a thought, as he's only just 22, where does that place him in the A list B list for European competition? I know Nasti is considered A list yet. Isco wouldn't be 23 till near end of season? What's the cut off date?

If I have it right he has to be under 21 before 1st January 2014. He aint so he goes on the A list and to play in prem needs to be included in 25 man squad which is unfortunate.
