We promote Rekik in his place giving us him and Nastasic as back up.

Demichelis going with Garcia would free up a place for Isco.

Mangala will be replacing and upgrading lescott.
Got a feeling rekik will be given chance this year in the cup games but nastasic will be moved on to serie a or (hope not) arsenal.

I reckon, Nastisic will stay this year our problems over him will be next year, MDM only has a year left but did so bloody well at end of last year and could be needed until Christmas just to make sure Magala has his feet firmly under table. MDM leaves in Jan window, Negredo for me would be the casualty for prem league out for at least two months that is end of sept, with a month of training back for October, can then use him in CL games and COC games till December and take over from MDMs spot in the prem league, llowing Rekik then to stake his place fully in the side. Rekik to assume Nastisic's place next summer if he fails to impress this year. As for Garcia would only use him in domestic cup games .

Of course I am just guessing at the above but that is what I would consider if we were to get Isco.

At least the balance of the squad is not put out of kilter too much.

I think Demichelis is valuable in that Pellegrini trusts him to organize the back line. If Kompany were to get injured again I'd be kind of frightened of a Mangala, Nastasic pairing. Both are quality, but since Mangala is new and both are young I don't know if they can play the offside trap and be organized back there.

The way I see it is that if we get Isco the 2 guys out for the PL would be Jovetic and Garcia either sold or on loan. Isco and Jovetic are similar and both can play in the midfield or as the 2nd striker. I think we can still keep Nastasic in as he would count as U21.

For the CL in additon to Jovetic and Garcia I would take out Nastasic if he does count as foreign and also Caballero. We would just have to hope Hart can make it through all CL games.

I'm worried about what losing silva or nasri for 6 months might do to our creativity. I don't think 3 ball players are too many to accomodate in a squad. How the fat is trimmed to accommodate them is up to the boys who are paid to make those decisions. Besides, I wasn't having a chip at you, but we as fans all try to squeeze 22 into 11, when 11 players will never make through a season.
